Mainly used to prevent vapor or liquid from entering a measuring instrument from a system, or from entering a system from a measuring instrument. It provides a very low-temperature surface where molecules can condense, thereby increasing the vacuum degree by one to two orders of magnitude. The design of the cold trap aims to capture gases through condensation and is suitable for applications that require high vacuum levels. Its working principle is based on capturing gas on a cooled surface, through which the cold trap can effectively improve the vacuum degree of the system and reduce the impact on the accuracy of the measuring instrument.
